HAPPY TUMMY, HAPPY MUMMY... & A SMOOTHIE BOWL THE KIDS WILL LOVE

vblog2 If you've seen my snapchats lately, you'll know I am all about gut health, especially since returning from Bali with tummy bugs. Vitality and happiness really does start from a healthy stomach and we've needed the extra nourishment of bone broths, slippery elm and of course probiotics.

The easiest and yummiest way to get a daily dose is through a probiotic yoghurt. Over the last month we have been trialling some of the Vaalia range- and you only have to look at the pictures for Archie's verdict on taste. He loved the kids squeeze pouches, and as you can see also helped himself to my tub of low-fat vanilla (which I had to wrestle off him!)

Coming into winter, my pick for the kids has to be the new Immune Defence range, with Vitamin A, D, B12 as well as the 3 probiotics only found in Vaalia- it's must to keep those school germs at bay, and is suitable for babies from 6 months.

I also like to add some Vaalia to our breakfast smoothie bowl.  Colourful, smooth and sweet, they are the perfect breakfast for the fussy eater- and fun to make, so get the kids involved! Always keep a stash of frozen fruit in the freezer and you'll have a healthy brekkie made in 5 minutes flat.

The below recipe is on high rotation at ours. You can add different fruits and flavours and experiment as you like.

BERRYLICIOUS SMOOTHIE BOWL

1 Frozen Banana

1/2 cup Frozen berries

1/2 cup vanilla probiotic yoghurt (immune defence for the kids)

1/4-1/2 cup coconut water depends how thick you want it
