Founded in 2017 by Marcia Leone while heavily pregnant and practically living in her pyjamas, Not So Mumsy The Label was born from one simple desire: to create sleepwear that women could feel proud to wear both at home and out in the world. What started as a quest for pyjamas that felt as stylish as they were comfortable has since grown into a cult brand loved by women across Australia and beyond.

From day one, we’ve embraced a polyester-free philosophy, choosing natural and sustainable fabrics wherever possible. Because we believe what you sleep in should allow your body to breathe, your skin to rest, and your mind to switch off, without compromise.

  • Ethical Offshore Production - for our mainline pyjamas, we work with carefully chosen, ethical factories overseas, using sustainable fabrics wherever we can.

This balanced approach allows us to offer timeless, feel-good designs while staying true to our values of sustainability and conscious production.


What We Create

Our core is sleepwear, but our collections also include loungewear, elevated basics, and bespoke accessories, designed to take you from school drop-off to slow Sundays, and even lunch with the girls. Over the years, we’ve delivered more than 100,000 pairs of pyjamas into the homes (and wardrobes) of women who share our love of comfort with style.

We’re proud to have grown almost entirely through word of mouth. With no advertising spend, our loyal and repeat customers have been our greatest advocates, a true testament to the quality, comfort, and effortless style of every piece.
